About Ibbe Qureshi

I lead data management in financial services to ensure it improves decision-making, strengthens customer outcomes, and builds trust — not just documentation. As a first-line executive, I focus on embedding clear data ownership, accountability, and practical governance into day-to-day operations. My priority is making governance useful — supporting better service, faster decisions, and stronger performance.I work at the intersection of business, data, and risk — aligning strategy, operational execution, and customer impact. Strong governance, when designed well, reduces friction, improves transparency, and enables confident decision-making across the organisation. My experience includes:• Establishing clear data ownership and accountability models• Strengthening control environments without slowing delivery• Improving data quality to support customer and business decisions• Embedding governance frameworks that scale with growth• Aligning operational execution with long-term resilience and trustI’m particularly interested in practical approaches that make governance a competitive advantage — enhancing customer experience, organisational clarity, and sustainable performance.
