Dr. Ibraheem Mu'azzam Tunau is an accomplished General Surgeon with a special focus on breast surgery. Dr. Tunau graduated from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria 1989. He also completed his fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FRCSI), in he then refined his skills in laparoscopic surgery, earning a diploma from the European Institute of Telesurgery in Strasbourg, France. Dr. Tunau has performed over breast surgeries over 30 years of clinical experience, where he served in numerous prestigious medical institutions across Ireland, including the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and St. Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin. Dr Ibraheem contributed significantly to breast surgery, particularly within specialist breast units, and recognition for his research with awards for best case and poster presentations at surgical meetings in 2007 and 2009. Dr Tunau is known for his attention to details and his people skills, where he is usually very understanding and attentive and always puts his patient’s safety and goals as a top priority.
