Medicinal Chemist | 5+ Years Industry & 4 Years Academia | Early-Stage Drug Discovery | Computational Chemistry & Python for Data Analysis I am an experienced medicinal chemist with extensive expertise in synthesizing target molecules for early-stage drug discovery projects. Over my career, I have contributed to multiple projects that delivered lead compounds advancing toward clinical trials. My experience spans CNS diseases, cardiovascular conditions, and the design of linker-payload compounds for ADCs targeting cancers. During my time at Femtogenix and Domainex, I worked on medicinal chemistry projects that successfully produced compounds entering Phase I trials. In addition to my synthetic chemistry background, I have experience as a computational chemist, leveraging Python libraries to analyze ligand-protein interactions, modify ligand structures using RDKit, and perform energy minimization calculations with Vina — all within the Jupyter Lab environment. I am also skilled in data analysis, utilizing Python libraries such as MDAnalysis, Matplotlib, and NumPy. Beyond scientific applications, I’ve developed Python-based tools and applications in my spare time.
