I completed my degree in architectural technologies with a thesis-studio project titled Reconstructing Architecture, which focused on the transformation of an abandoned Amsterdam prison used as an asylum center. Our design transformed it into the British School of Amsterdam, integrating it seamlessly into the urban landscape with a sustainable, purpose-driven My career began at an Amsterdam-based architectural firm, where I worked as an architectural engineer across a range of projects—from urban planning and expansive residential complexes to high-end homes, hotels, offices, and various IKEA concepts. I later shifted to lighting design, bringing my design expertise into the lighting industry. I've had the privilege of working with industry leading lighting companies and even founded my own design studio, specializing in architectural lighting design, architectural design, and visualization. A strong advocate for co-creation and collaboration, I also bring experience in creative marketing and concept development, combined with a commercially focused design skill set.
