About Ibrahim Gobir
I am an Assistant Professor and Field Resident Director West Africa Georgetown University Nigerian Program that leads the Nigeria country office with over 20 years Public Health experience. I led the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative strategies targeted at multiple health conditions including HIV, TB, LF, and COVID-19 in Nigeria while also serving as PD on WHO TB REACH WAVE 1 and 4, multiple PEPFAR-funded HIV and US CDC GHS program in Nigeria, Rwanda, Eswatini and Cameroon. This is in addition to being the PI on a recently awarded USAID Comprehensive HIV care and treatment program to Georgetown Global Health Nigeria, a locally registered affiliate of Georgetown University. Furthermore, I am also serving as the PI on TPT Data Quality Audit, TPT Outcome Evaluation, and development of an electronic laboratory system for Nigeria, all funded by multiple donors.
