Background
About Ibrahim Jabbie
Former French Football Player | Sports Enthusiast | Educator | Language Lover.Proudly represented ESTAC from 2004 to 2008 and SCO Angers until 2010 in my early football career.Made history as the youngest player of my generation to sign a contract for ESTAC and led the team as captain at under 14 and under 16 levels. Also had the honour of captaining the Champagne-Ardennes regional team during the National Cup finals at Clairefontaine.Expanding my horizons, I moved to the UK after my contract, where I pursued a degree in International Relations at the University of Birmingham, completing it in 2015 with second class honours.During my time at Birmingham, I served as the vice-club captain and later as the club captain of the men’s football team, one of the largest sports organisations at the university. As a club captain, I developed a comprehensive three-year plan to ensure the continued success of the team after my departure.Following my studies, I completed a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages at the University of Oxford and have been sharing my passion for the French language and culture as a dedicated French teacher. Since 2016, I have been working with students from KS3 to KS5.I believe in the power of sports to install discipline and teamwork, and education to broaden perspective.Let’s connect and explore new opportunities together.
