Ichiro Seino is the President & CEO of MEIS Insurance Services Inc.(formerly Mitsubishi Electronic Insurance Services), a position he assumed following Marsh Japan’s acquisition effective November 4, 2025. He is leading the company during a critical phase in Japan’s insurance market, where regulatory changes present both challenges and opportunities for innovation in distribution, compliance, and client service. Leveraging his extensive experience in the insurance sector, he is focused on strengthening governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing service offerings for our clients. His priorities include supporting our team through the transition, integrating best practices from Marsh Japan, and delivering measurable value to policyholders and partners. He is dedicated to pragmatic leadership, clear communication, and building a resilient organization that adapts to regulatory changes while maintaining excellence in risk transfer and client service. Prior to this role, he served as the Regional Automotive Industry Leader for Marsh Asia, where he provided high-level risk solutions and consulting/operational innovations to automotive companies throughout the Asia region. He utilized his international experience gained over seven years working in the United States, combined with his deep industry knowledge of the automotive sector. Ichiro began his professional career with Marsh Japan in 1995. Before joining Marsh, he spent ten years in the Production Department at Nippon Fire & Marine Insurance Company, working with both commercial and individual clients. He has played a key role as a project manager in the development and implementation of global consolidated insurance programs for several major Japanese corporations.
