Background

About Ida Appelgren

I am a Trainee at Advania Sweden mainly focusing on Oracle databases that recently graduated from Stockholm University with a double bachelor's degree in Data Science and Business Administration. Starting my professional career as a Trainee means both developing my technical skills and the soft skills I need as a consultant further. One of my most significant interests are sustainability and how to implement it in businesses, especially focusing on sustainable IT. The first bachelor thesis I wrote focused on which demands on sustainable IT large Swedish companies put on suppliers and partners. I hope to one day help ensure that technology fosters a sustainable business landscape. While studying, I specialized in Information Technology, Project management, and Databases, as well as Sustainability, Marketing strategies, and Sustainable IT.
