About Ida Nylander

Hi, I've started my pattern maker journey at RNB - JC kids department. Where I got to work with both woven, jersey and knit. In December 2008 i started working at H&M as junior pattern maker and helped out at different departments. I learned a lot from that since I got to experience many different working ways and product types. After a few months, I ended up at Underwear & Nightwear department. I got to work on different grading projects for underwear such as moulds, wires and briefs. Then I became a Pattern maker for Nightwear department. Worked with both Jersey and woven products. In 2011 I became a pattern maker at Knitwear womens wear and I'm still working at the same department. The knit industry keeps on developing everyday and that is what makes the job fun. You always have to keep on trying and finding new solutions. I've done a lot of projects over the years for knitwear such as grading, knit courses/material and Shima 3D. Been holding courses in knit and Shima PGM as well. I also know CLO. I enjoy projects and I'm always trying to finding the best working method. For me it is important with a smooth working flow between the roles, good communication and speed when needed. Best Regards Ida
