About Idah Mphaphuli

I hold an MSc Hydrogeology degree majoring in hydrogeochemistry, environmental isotopes, physical hydrogeology, and water resources management. My technical skills experience involves drilling and GPR supervision, borehole decommission, pumping test, hydrocensus, slug test, well development, borehole testing, and groundwater monitoring and evaluation. I have skills in safety and health planning, report writing, data analysis and interpretation, water risk analysis, desktop groundwater potential investigation, groundwater contamination and remediation (hydrocarbons). My software skills involves Equis collect, Surfer, ArcMap, and Aquachem. My interest lies in water provision/supply, impact of climate change in water resources, groundwater vulnerability, protection and management. I’ve supported various project managers and team leads in ensuring that project deliverables are met through internal client management. I’m skilled in logistics planning to execute site work, and I’ve actively contributed to the achievements of water supply, contamination, and remediation projects.
