Hey there! I'm Idan, a passionate software engineer with an insatiable curiosity for the world of technology. I have over 6 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Java, Spring, Hibernate, microservices, Kafka, and AWS. I hold a B.Sc in software engineering from Ort Braude college in Israel. I currently serve as a backend developer in Feedvisor's advertising team. In my role, I contribute to our platform's mission of empowering customers to optimize their ads, boost sales, and maximize profits, all while minimizing advertising costs on Amazon and Walmart marketplaces. Operating within an agile environment, I work with a microservices architecture deployed on Linux. Leveraging Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate, I develop robust and scalable solutions. Docker and Kafka streamline our deployment process, while PostgreSQL and Druid handle our data needs. And of course, our infrastructure is powered by AWS. I also collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product, data, and frontend, to deliver high-quality features and solutions. I am passionate about technology, learning new skills, and solving complex problems. I enjoy working in an agile and dynamic environment, where I can contribute to the company's vision and growth. With a solid foundation in object-oriented programming and data structures, I thrive on tackling new challenges and solving complex problems.
