I am a senior Scheduling Manager and have been in the business of Scheduling for over 25 years. I can deal with anything schedule related (Heavy Civil, Buildings etc) from the Bid Schedule through baselines and claims. I know my way around scheduling backwards and with the right training to your schedulers/engineers I can implement a process that will ensure the success of a project through a dynamically sound schedule. The process will also capture delays as they happen, monitor them as they progress with a view to establishing entitlement at the onset of the claim (this will eliminate the headaches associated with trying to establish and prove entitlement at the end of the Project). I can generate comprehensive Bid schedules by use of the contract, phasing and drawings (only relying on the Bid team to establish durations based on bid estimates and to fine tune the logic once the bid schedule has been developed – in the past 15 months I have created 3 bid schedules for work totaling over $2 BN US – one Bid Schedule consisted of over activities. With a comprehensive Bid schedule that supports the contract requirements, it also establishes more accuracy in the bid $$ values as it gives a clearer understanding on crew and material requirements. Also, the eventual development of the Baseline requires minimum effort once the bid has been awarded. I also have the ability to go onto a project that is experiencing problems to comprehensively analyze/revise the Project schedule along with the Project Manager with a view to getting them back on track or at the least try to reduce any delay. If the delays are owner based, then carry out a full Delay analysis (there are various methods that can be used to carry out this analysis and is dependent on the way the schedules have been maintained – hence the need to have a proper process in place).
