Before I had developed the muscles to smile, I had already experienced rejection on a cellular level. At six weeks old, my birth parents vanished from my life. I was placed with a foster family who were working with the Save the Children Foundation and they raised and loved me as their own. I often say I wasn’t abandoned. I was planted. One of my most powerful and popular keynotes is called Planted, Not Buried, where I explore how everything in life either teaches us something or prepares us for something. I believe we are the directors of our stories and I’ve spent my life helping others rewrite theirs from a place of power, not pain. From the scar, not the wound. At 17, I began studying body language, microexpressions, and tonality because I wanted to connect. I was wired for connection but something felt different. In my 30s, I discovered I’m autistic. What some would call a challenge, I call my superpower. I process words as pictures. I have a memory that locks onto emotion. So when people speak, I see their story. And I help them share it, authentically, beautifully, and with purpose. I’m a motivational speaker, mindset and confidence coach, and the creator of the Confidence Star a 12-step framework designed to help individuals build unshakable self-belief and cultivate meaningful connection. I’m also a Brian Tracy Certified Trainer, a two-time author, and currently completing my MBA at Cranfield School of Management, one of the UK’s leading institutions for business leadership. I believe confidence is something we’re all born with, but life can make us question it. My work helps people connect more deeply with themselves so they can develop the confidence to connect powerfully with others. Whether I’m coaching leaders, speaking in schools, or working with brands, I’m here to hold up the mirror and help people see what’s already inside them. Wherever I go boardroom, classroom, or conference stage, I bring faith and fire into every space, helping people find the light in the darkness. As part of my discipleship, one of my favourite scriptures is Genesis 1:3, “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” My mission is to keep the light in the world. That’s why every audience I speak to receives a Confidence Star a physical reminder of their inner light. A gift they can take home. A tool they can use daily. A spark to keep going. I often ask one powerful question: “What’s your assignment?” Because when you know that, everything else starts to fall into place.
