About Iffat Parvez

Hi, I am a Master's student in sustainable digitalisation at Tampere University. My degree includes courses on various design fields, accessibility, gamification and sustainability. I am conducting research with my collaborator Demola on the role of transparency and accountability in sustainability reporting by international organizations. Specifically, I am interested in understanding how these organizations' reporting practices shape and align the social contract between them and the public. As part of this research, I am seeking perspectives from students worldwide. The research focuses on the critical role of transparency and accountability in sustainability reporting by international organizations and how these practices influence and align the social contract between these organizations and the public. I have experience in nurturing young kids and international students of KSA and Jeddah. My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I will provide a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks. Being a professional in education as well as corporate sector I believe in providing real hands on experience to the students in real life as well as in class environment. As an entrepreneur in the restaurant industry, I have a demonstrated expertise in sales and operations management, with a strong emphasis on delivering outstanding customer experiences. With a proven track record, I specialize in driving revenue growth by cultivating key client relationships, orchestrating successful events, and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency within the tourism and restaurant sectors. Additionally, I have pursued my passion for culinary arts by obtaining professional certification as both a chef and restaurant manager.
