About Ignacio Armas

Florida-licensed and Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who earned his medical degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He then completed four years of internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center in Miami. During his last year there, Dr. Armas served as Administrative Chief Resident. Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, he has been in private practice in the Plant City and Brandon, Florida area since 1988. Dr. Armas has special interest in laparoscopic surgery, surgery for female urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Dr Armas is a SottoPelle Certified Physician who studied and trained under the direction of Dr. Gino Tutera. Dr. Armas is listed in the Florida edition of Castle Connolly's Guide,"How To Find The Best Doctors". He is also recognized in Metro Magazine 2007 and 2008 edition as,"Best Doctors In America".
