In my current role within digital finance Operations at Novartis: I'm responsible for the design, the development and the operations of financial reporting and planning systems. I lead a team of five BI developers and our systems are used across the whole Operations Finance organization for effective cost controlling, planning and senior management reviews. We generate business insights thanks to advanced analytics methods embedded in classical BI systems. I hold a Ph.D. in theoretical physics and worked in academia till 2017. I then moved to corporate business, the first two years working for the banking sector, innovating in data science and big data analytics.
