About Igor Kompas

Igor started to work in Hewlett-Packard on April 2004 as an SAP basis administrator supporting worldwide customers. Gradually he developed into senior engineer and started to implement SAP basis tasks like SAP installations, SAP upgrades, support pack upgrades, database, and system refreshes. In 2006 Igor took responsibility as Service Delivery Manager of SAP implementation team in Bratislava. His main responsibilities were people management, business development, KPI’s measurement and organizing daily operations. In 2009 Igor started to work as SAP Project manager responsible for global SAP transformations across globe. His main customers were telecom, forklift and fashion industry clients looking for consolidating and transforming their SAP landscapes into new mode of operations while achieving business consolidation and cost efficiency. In 2021 Igor took additional responsibilities and started to manage DXC SAP Cloud offering practice, leading development of new DXC SAP offerings in Azure/AWS Cloud. In 2022 Igor became people manager of SAP Architecture & Implementation team while keeping SAP Project Management and Portfolio management responsibilities. Within this role he is focusing on further product and people development. Prior to HP/HPE/DXC Igor worked as DB Admin in Erste Bank and DB Admin in IBM Mexico City for 2 years.
