About Igor Lazarovski

I am a technical advisor for installation and commissioning of SF6-gas-insulated switchgear at Hitachi Energy, where I perform the installation and commissioning of equipment type ELK-04 / 145 kV and ELK-04 / 170 kV. I have a background in production engineering from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Kragujevac Serbia, and a certificate in field service engineering from Hitachi Energy. I have also worked as a assembly and quality technician at Hitachi ABB Power Grids, where I was responsible for the assembly and quality of SF6-gas-insulated switchgear. In my current and previous roles, I have developed and applied skills in troubleshooting, quality assurance, and team leadership. I have successfully completed multiple projects involving the installation and commissioning of high-voltage switchgear equipment in Sweden, Germany, Italy Montenegro, Oman, and service work in Norway, Germany, Iceland, Portugal, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards. I enjoy working with diverse and cross-functional teams, and I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the energy transition and the sustainability of the power sector. I am eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to share my expertise and experience with others.
