Hey Does anybody know how to write the perfect "About" section? Asking for a friend. It's all about growth for me. If I'm not growing, I'm not going. Whether it's in my personal life with hobbies and interests, or in my professional life with new projects and skills, I always have something new to work towards and immerse myself in. During my 6 years at TELUS I had the ability to really throw myself into many different things. Through the new grad Marketing Development Program I was 1 of 10 hires who had the chance to work on the frontlines in the call center and stores, and then spend 2 years working on 3 different teams across the business, during which I- Supported the digital first brand Public Mobile through a key transition period after being acquired by TELUS, where we were able to successfully improve our overall customer sentiment - Moved to Vancouver to help with the go to market of Pik TV, a new android-powered TV service targeted at the cord cutters of traditional cable TV, which helped create a new revenue stream - Finished the program by supporting a large-scale internal systems consolidation project to help our business find efficiencies in budget and time to market in our email marketing processes The next 1.5 years I spent learning all about Service Design and User-Centred Design Thinking, which I LOVED. I was able to create repeat business for our team and deliver insights that were prioritized in-year for our clients. I immediately knew that design thinking was my way of thinking, and the time I spent honing this craft helped pave the way for my move into Product Management. I finished my time at TELUS by supporting an internal sales application as the Product Manager, defining and executing the roadmap to increase internal system adoption, and (possibly what I'm most proud of) leading us through 2 Black Friday periods and a COVID response, where system stability was paramount with high sales volumes and digital traffic. Now I'm spending my time going deeper into the world of product at Statflo and loving every second of it. Outside of work you can catch me staying active outdoors (snowboarding is my passion), gaming/following the latest in e-sports and F1, or listening to music (nothing beats live shows). I'm also a long time Movember supporter and overall advocate for men's health. Anyways, that's me. Tell me about yourself!
