Hi, my name is Igor :) With over 7 years of experience as a backend Python engineer, I have worked extensively with frameworks such as Django, Django REST framework, and FastAPI. I have implemented numerous 3rd party API integrations, including those related to billing and legal systems. I have optimized ETL pipelines, data loaders, and reports, achieving significant speed improvements, with increases of up to 100x. I actively participate in code cleanup, refactoring, and increasing test coverage to ensure high code quality. I also have solid experience with Docker and containerization in general, using Helm charts, and hosting the applications in the cloud, whether AWS, Google Cloud, or any custom solution. Throughout my career, I have built software solutions to complex business problems and have solid experience leading a small team. I have built CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid and efficient deployment of code changes and implemented logs and monitoring using ELK Stack, Grafana, and Sentry to ensure that systems are running efficiently and that issues are quickly identified and resolved. I am dedicated to delivering high-quality results and always exploring new technologies to improve system performance and functionality. In my free time, I stay active by hitting the gym and playing basketball. These activities help me stay physically fit and contribute to my overall mental well-being. My strengths include system design, optimizing slow-running components or API endpoints to improve performance, finding the right balance between speed and quality during solution planning and development, refactoring code to make it easy to maintain and read, as well as integrating third-party APIs and architecting solutions for complex business problems.
