About Iiro Sippola

I am a sixth-year mechanical engineering master's student at the Tampere University and I graduated with a Bachelor's degree (Technology) in 2023. My major is Machine Design and I study manufacturing technology as a minor. I am particularly interested in the manufacturing industry, the development of manufacturing methods and the design of machine structures. I manage the use of CAD and CAM tools as part of the design process. Siemens NX and Solidworks, among others, have become familiar with. Suomeksi: Olen kuudennen vuoden konetekniikan maisteriopiskelija Tampereen yliopistosta. Pääaineeni on koneensuunnittelu ja sivuaineena opiskelen valmistustekniikkaa. Olen kiinnostunut erityisesti valmistavasta teollisuudesta, valmistusmenetelmien kehittämisestä ja konerakenteiden suunnittelusta. Hallitsen CAD- ja CAM-työkalujen käytön osana suunnitteluprosessia. Muun muassa Siemens NX ja Solidworks ovat tulleet tutuiksi.
