About Ike Uche

As a higher education administrator at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, I am responsible for managing the admission process for a number of the University’s programs. For nearly fourteens years, I also worked at Fordham University. As a liaison between the Higher Education Opportunity Program Office and Fordham’s Office of Undergraduate Admission, I helped first generation students become successful college students. I have been active in professional organizations such as the College Access Consortium of New York, the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling, and the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
