About Ikenna Eze

I apply my epidemiological and clinical skills to manage, coordinate, and execute complex and innovative research projects in personalized health and global health. This leverages over 10 years of experience in designing and conducting observational and analytical studies, synthesizing real-world evidence (RWE), and developing secure data management infrastructures. My core competencies include RWE generation and utilization, biobanking and cohort management, study design and documentation, data quality and harmonization, inferential statistical modeling and data analysis, and scientific communication and dissemination. I have led or contributed to several multi-center, multi-sector, and population-based studies, involving diverse data sources and formats, such as electronic medical records, citizen cohort databases, genetic variation data, and brain imaging data. I have also trained, supervised, and mentored research staff and students, and published and presented my findings in various academic and professional forums. I am passionate about advancing the science and practice of epidemiology and personalized health, and collaborating with interdisciplinary and cross-cultural partners to improve health outcomes particularly in the global south.
