About Ikram Patel

With over nine years of industry experience, I have led and contributed to large-scale data engineering initiatives across diverse domains such as insurance, telecom, and manufacturing. My professional background spans building scalable ETL pipelines, architecting cloud-native data platforms, performing data modeling, and executing legacy-to-cloud migration strategies. I’ve worked hands-on with tools and technologies like AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena), Snowflake, Informatica (PowerCenter & BDM), Teradata, Hive, and Python to deliver robust and high-performance data solutions tailored to business needs. To complement this technical foundation, I pursued a Post Graduate credential in Data Analytics for Business from St. Clair College. This academic experience deepened my understanding of deriving insights from data through KPIs and dashboards, and introduced me to predictive analytics and machine learning. I’ve worked on applying statistical techniques and ML models to real-world business scenarios, bridging the gap between raw data and strategic decision-making. By combining real-world engineering expertise with data analytics capabilities, I bring a holistic approach to solving data challenges — from ingestion and transformation to insight generation and predictive modeling.
