About Ilan Orzy

I am a born and bred Torontonian. Currently, I serve as the #2 at a non-profit that helps those who are struggling with addiction in the Jewish community and beyond. I focus on cultivating meaningful staff culture and effective operational standards to help us use our resources as best we can to help as many people as we can. Previously, I oversaw the operations and communications of a human rights-focused organization. Before that, I gained experience working on Parliament Hill and with various Jewish community non-profit institutions. I also served in the Israeli military and volunteered for Israel's national ambulance service. I've been noted for my work on important matters, namely the fight against antisemitism. I am known best as an experienced crisis manager and team member with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. People say I increase efficiency around me, and I always strive to do so while building up my colleagues so they can be the best they can. I have been recognized for my leadership and the ability to adapt quickly to new situations. Well-versed in relationship development and an excellent strategist, I do what I can to ensure the camp ground is always cleaner than when I arrived.
