I am a leader of more than two decades committed to educating with my mind, heart, and hands and who believes we more fruitfully grow our organizations, build deeper connections, become more personally invested, and develop a greater sense of responsibility when identity and social-emotional learning are woven into every aspect of our experience. I believe in modeling the courage and vulnerability it takes to embrace taking risks and to live life with a true growth mindset. I strive to leave every space I inhabit having interacted with people in a way that displays my deeply held values around social justice, inclusivity, generosity, grace, and kindness. And I genuinely hope I inspire an absolute, lifelong love for learning – no matter one’s age – highlighting that there is always joy found in the journey!
