About Ilon Goldberg

My research focuses on Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT), a rare pediatric sarcoma caused by the EWSR1-WT1 fusion gene. I have published several articles and presented numerous posters on the genetics and epigenetics of DSRCT. I also work as an EMT for a busy 9-1-1 service, and as an Emergency Department Technician. I graduated from Tulane University in the School of Medicine with a Master of Science in Microbiology & Immunology. I am on both the Education and Pediatric committees of the National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP), and am also a member of several science geared organizations including American Association for the Advancement of Science American Chemical Society (ACS), and American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). I am currently interested in pursuing a dual M.D./J.D. degree.
