About Ilona Sciberras

With over nine years of experience in the hospitality industry, I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to deliver exceptional customer service and memorable events. I have a master's degree in hospitality management and a strong background in food and beverage management, guest services, and sales. I am currently the Assistant Director of Sales at Corinthia Caterers, one of the leading catering companies in Malta. In my current role, I oversee the sales strategy and operations for the corporate and private segment, which includes local and international clients from various sectors. I am responsible for reaching out to potential customers, negotiating contracts, arranging site visits, and ensuring customer satisfaction. I also work closely with the internal catering team, the event planners, and the operational staff to coordinate and execute successful events that meet the clients' needs and expectations. Some of the skills that I use daily are communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and teamwork.
