About Ilpo Pohjola

Digitalization and change management has been characterized duties during my working career. Acquisitions in many ways are also well-known processes. Now, I'm CEO at Eventio Group Oy which is concern of four companies. My main daily work is to run the strategy of the concern. It contains change management project and large digitalization project through whole concern. Eventio Group Oy contains also Eventio Oy, Oy Lottex Ab and A-Lottex Oy. We have also real estate company Kiinteistö Oy Juristinkallio. In my work, I have a strong development grip, but also a strong experience in operational leadership from current job, my own company as a CEO and as a manager in Finnair Plc subsidiary. Now, I have responsibility of five companies where I am involved in practical work with sleeves wrapped up to make bigger and more profitable business. Public examination of my dissertation was held Feb 17th, 2017 in the University of Eastern Finland, Joensuu. The name for the dissertation is: Communities of Practice as an Open Innovation Environment for Knowledge Creation and Transfer.
