About Ilse H.

I provide strategic guidance and support to business clients, including Fortune 500 companies, across ICT, REITs, FMCG, mining, and other industries on issues related to business and human rights, digital rights, responsible supply chains, and sustainability. I have 4 years of experience conducting due diligence assessments and risk mappings, as well as advising on mitigation strategies for human rights and environmental risks, helping businesses align with best practices and international standards (UNGPs) and goals (SDGs). I have experience conducting country-level human rights and environmental impact assessments in Mexico, Brazil, Germany, India, Thailand, and the U.S, which includes organizing and facilitating focus groups directly with workers and interviews with supplier management. My background in business, tech policy, and international affairs enables me to navigate diverse social, economic, and political contexts, understand the unique perspectives and priorities of various stakeholders, and develop strategies that balance business objectives with ethical and sustainable practices.
