About Ilya Chaban

Applied Mechanics engineer with a Master’s from CTU (2023) and hands-on experience in motorsport and agricultural machinery. I started in 2017 with E-Force CTU Formula Student, where I learned to move fast, validate designs, and deliver under real-world constraints. Since 2019, I’ve been contributing at BEDNAR FMT, applying simulation and test data to develop reliable, efficient mechanical systems. My background blends theory and practice: Bachelor’s in 2020, continued directly into a Master’s in Applied Mechanics, finishing in 2023. Along the way I’ve worked across the full development cycle—concept, CAD, FEA, prototyping, and verification—collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn models into manufacturable products. I’m motivated by tough mechanical problems, clear metrics, and measurable improvements in durability, weight, and performance. If you’re building machines that must survive the real world, we’ll have a lot to talk about.
