Over the past seven years, I have honed my skills at Bloomingdale’s, where I learned the importance of delivering exceptional customer service, being compassionate, and maintaining a positive attitude. These experiences have equipped me with the qualities essential for a successful career in dentistry. My journey into dentistry began with my personal experience of getting braces, which sparked my interest in dental care and oral health. Recognizing the profound impact that dental professionals can have on their patients’ lives, I decided to go back to school to become a dental hygienist. In retail, I developed a keen ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions—skills that are directly transferable to patient care in a dental setting. My time at Bloomingdale’s taught me to be attentive, empathetic, and enthusiastic, all of which I will bring to my new role in dentistry.
