About Immaculate Singano

I have worked in the Insurance industry in Malawi for over twelve years. I am a trained secretary and I started work in the Insurance industry in Malawi as a Secretary which I worked for 1 year then I pursued my career in Insurance. After attaining a Certificate in Insurance I was promoted from being a Secretary to an Underwriting technician. I continued with my Insurance studies and I became a Chartered Insurer with the Chartered insurance institute of United Kingdom. In October 2019 I obtained my Masters Degree in Business Administration that I attained with Eastern and southern African institute (ESAMI). I have since worked up to Managerial level with my most previous Job being Claims Manager for Britam Insurance Company. I moved to England in October 2019 and from March 2020, I am working with Allianz Insurance UK as a Claims Handler. I am a caring, reliable, focused and hardworking individual and I have attained a lot of experience working as part of a successful team at Britam. I am always dedicated to my work and am always passionate about what I do as well as bringing positive change into other people's lives. Over the years I have worked in different capacities and I have always embraced a service user oriented approach. I like building rapport with service users and learn more about their specific needs so as to provide a user centric service. Some of the key transferable skills that I possess include leadership, skillful customer service, decision making, problem solving, communication, interpersonal skills as well as self awareness. I have the ability to write comprehensive reports. Am well versed with essential IT skills including MS office applications, email usage and management.
