About Immanuel Allen

I am a 22 year old audio factotum from Charlotte, NC, raised by a single mother, a multifaceted graphic designer and illustrator. My father never played an active role in my life, but as I grew into an adult, I learned of the self-inflicted misfortunes that plagued his life and studied what I could to prevent from settling for his complacency as dad and a preacher. Ironically, I fostered my own growth, speaking my truth by turning to music as a form of therapy to voice these concerns I had within my own personal life. I was seeking to provide a perspective to my pain. It soon developed into an unquenchable passion in which I constantly remember coming home from school and work to create beats and record my songs and share these works with my peers. I created a catalog of works, and over the course of a few years, hustled to create a living for myself through audio engineering inside of recording studios for other artists in and around the Charlotte area. I understood that through consistency and hard work that I would be able to place myself in opportunities that could further my career, furthering my message in the process.
