Imo sits on the board of Linkage Assurance Plc. as a non-executive director (NED); is a Board Trustee with PROJECT ARK Initiative and an Advisory Board member of Partnership Opportunities for Women Empowerment Realization (POWER). Imo recently set up New Beginnings, an NGO which supports widows and indigent women in the south-eastern region of Nigeria. Her professional experience spans a period of over thirty years in the areas of Human Resource (HR) Management and Administration in the Banking and Finance sector of Fortune 100 companies. As Managing Consultant of GTN-HR Consultants), an HR consulting firm in Nigeria she has initiated and driven several people and corporate transformational and governance initiatives in financial services, public and and more recently the power sector. With a huge network of HR executives and systems Imo continues to mentor and coach executives around the world. Prior to setting up the HR Consulting firm, she helped develop the HR function for Citigroup’s 102-nation ‘e-business’ group out of Stamford Connecticut, USA as VP and HR Senior Generalist. She has tremendous experience in HR management, organizational development and design, change management and transformation, as well as the development of people and the management of their careers. She has also collaborated with many world class consulting firms to implement various HR management projects. She holds a Masters in Administration with concentration in Human Resource Management from Pace University, New York. Imo has taught as guest faculty at Enterprise Development Centre of Pan Atlantic University, Lagos and frequently volunteered as Expert In Residence in the field of HR Management.
