About Imogen Burns

I am a passionate, hard-working and adaptable Communications Officer working at FareShare Midlands; the region's largest food redistribution charity. We turn an environmental problem into a social solution, by taking surplus food that would otherwise go to waste and getting it to over 500 charities and community organisations across the Midlands. In my role I aim to engage, inform and spark our audience into action, through many different communication streams - including social media, printed and digital marketing collateral, events, PR, content marketing and email marketing. I have previously dedicated a lot of my free time to volunteering for charitable organisations such as Food Cycle, The British Wildlife Trust and Snuffles Hedgehog Rescue.
