About Imogen Weigall

I am a final-year PhD. candidate at the University of South Australia, Business School. My doctoral research bridges the fields of neuroscience and management, examining both state (inter-brain synchrony) and trait-like (IAF, 1/f activity) neurophysiological predictors of shared mental models and team performance. I am passionate about understanding what characterises successful individuals and teams working in high-pressure, critical environments. I have experience in designing multi-method experimental studies and am skilled in collecting and analysing group electrophysiological data (i.e, hyperscanning) using R, Python, and SPSS. I value the interdisciplinary nature of my work and its potential to improve organisational capability and practice. In the future, I am particularly interested in exploring how teams can harness technology and neurofeedback to enhance their performance. I invite fellow academics and practitioners with similar interests to connect with me and look forward to sharing insights and exploring collaborations or career opportunities.
