About Imone Clemmons

I am a FLDOE certified School Counselor with experience working in K-12th grades schools, higher education and foster care. I have worked extensively with “At-Risk” youth across a variety of settings such as the YWCA Before and After School program, at The Legacy House, and within the Norfolk Public School district Title One schools. I'm am currently a School Counselor; however, I am interested in closely related positions such as Graduation Coach, Brace Advisor, Family Counselor, Career Counselor or Academic Advisor. I am eager to learn and passionate about making a difference. As an educator, It is intrinsically rewarding to guide students by assisting them with educational/career planning and to promote their social/emotional growth. My Bachelor’s degree is in Psychology and my Master’s degree is in PreK-12th grade Urban Education concentration in School Counseling. In addition, I completed my post graduate studies towards LPC Licensure (18 credits) at ODU and Hampton University. My long-term career goal is to continue to develop professionally as a counselor by receiving my LPC licensure.
