About Imre Racz

I am a technology leader with extensive experience spanning product development, organizational design, and technical strategy. Over the past eight years, I’ve specialized in the banking and fintech sector, where I’ve designed complex, highly scalable software architectures and led teams to deliver mission-critical solutions. My background includes years of hands-on engineering as well as leadership roles, including Head of Engineering and Principal Engineer, where I’ve driven innovation and long-term technical vision. My approach centers on fostering open, transparent environments where ideas can be shared freely, enabling teams to collaborate effectively and push boundaries. Having worked on numerous consulting engagements, I am adept at building trust with stakeholders, identifying key decision-makers, and aligning technical strategy with business objectives. I also bring a steady hand in conflict resolution and believe in leading by example to inspire confidence and accountability. While I have full-stack expertise, I gravitate toward backend engineering, where I enjoy solving complex architectural challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve worked across QA, test automation, DevOps, frontend development (including cross-platform and native mobile), data engineering, and even sales. This breadth of experience gives me a holistic perspective, allowing me to coordinate seamlessly across different disciplines and ensure alignment between technical execution and product goals. I’ve worked with a wide variety of technologies in production environments, but my preferred toolset includes Go, Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Flutter/Dart. I believe that choosing the right tool for the job is just as important as ensuring the organization has the structure and processes in place to support that choice effectively. Most recently, I’ve been exploring AI automation and agentic workflows, experimenting with ways to accelerate product development and unlock new opportunities through intelligent, self-directed systems.
