About Indah Budiani

With more than eight years of experience in the field of sustainability, I am passionate about promoting sustainable business and social welfare in Indonesia and beyond. As the Executive Director at IBCSD (Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development), I lead a team of professionals who work with various stakeholders, including government, private sector, civil society, and academia, to advance the sustainability agenda and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. I have a strong background in policy analysis, project development, government liaison, and knowledge management, as well as a certification in sustainability reporting and practice. I have also acquired expertise in resource efficiency and cleaner production, thanks to my previous roles as a policy expert at PPBN (Indonesia Cleaner Production Center) and a program director at IBCSD. I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in social welfare study at the University of Indonesia, where I aim to deepen my understanding of the social and environmental issues and challenges facing the country and the region. My mission is to empower and inspire businesses and communities to adopt sustainable practices and solutions that benefit both people and the planet.
