I have 15 years of experience in retail industry with 10 years of procurement experience gained in a fast paced, fortune 500 environment. I draw on a suite of specialized abilities in transforming under performing categories into profitable business assets as well as maintaining strategic partnerships. Additionally, I have a great deal of experience redefining sales and service cultures to adapt to a rapidly evolving marketplace. I have worked in Asia, Europe and North America which gives me a global perspective and has helped me become a quick learner and easily adaptable. I thrive in challenging, fast-paced environments where attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential. My professional experience covers a wide range of industries in a variety of areas including procurement, wholesale and retail operations, information technology, marketing and sales. Currently, I am working for Costco Wholesale Canada, in their national procurement division where my responsibilities are to procure and manage more than million in electronic goods annually. I work within a centralized procurement team for inline and part online businesses; building pricing strategy and promotional planning to achieve a double digit year on year growth target. I also maintain and develop streamlined national processes and tools, supervise a team of procurement data analysts and ensure our ongoing projects are cost effective and completed on time. Additionally, I manage over 20 strategic vendor relationships and support resolution for special client incidents. This position directly supports Senior Buyer and VP of procurement and includes heavy elements of database analysis, forecasting, project management and staff supervision.
