About Indira Puteri

I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Mathematical Sciences study programme at the Faculty of Science, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), and also serve as a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics Education at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Mataram, Indonesia. My research focuses on spatial modelling of Gaussian data, with a particular emphasis on house price analysis. I investigate the spatial structure of neighbourhood areas and model spatial dependencies using Bayesian hierarchical approaches, particularly Conditionally Autoregressive (CAR) models. To support this work, I am actively developing my proficiency in R for implementing and analysing statistical models. I regularly conduct simulation studies to evaluate model performance under various spatial scenarios. In addition, I have expanded my skill set to include web data scraping and techniques for handling missing data, enabling efficient collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of data relevant to my research. More recently, I have begun exploring factor analysis and latent variable models as part of my approach to handling missing data, allowing for the integration of partially observed information and the recovery of underlying spatial patterns.
