In his current role, he spearheads innovation-driven growth within the Cybersecurity Research & Innovation Unit, focusing on the development of AI/ML-powered assets. He collaborates with global cybersecurity leaders across industries such as BFSI, retail, manufacturing, and telecom, helping CISOs & CIOs enhance their cybersecurity posture through AI implementations. Notably, before the emergence of large language models (LLMs), he successfully developed a small-scale language model for a media client. He began his career as an individual contributor AI Scientist role in the Research and Innovation Lab and brings over 15 years of experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics. Throughout his career, he has developed cutting-edge machine learning solutions, some of which have been patented. Academically, he holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and is a double gold medalist in Machine Learning Research from the National Design and Research Forum (NDRF), Institution of Engineers (IEI). His exceptional contributions have been recognized multiple times—he was awarded the prestigious "Data Scientist Award 40 under 40" by Microsoft in both 2019 and 2021. His impressive portfolio includes 15 patents filed at TCS within the past five years. He has also won 15 Ideathons and Hackathons at both TCS and Tata Group levels, with an ever-growing list of accolades. Beyond these achievements, he has secured over 250 prizes at national and international competitions. He has published 15+ research articles in SCI and SCI-E indexed journals, producing high-quality research work. He actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for multiple international SCI journals. In 2019, he presented his research at the International Conference on Data Management, Analytics & Innovation (ICDMAI) in Malaysia, where he won first prize in the "Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence" track.
