About Indrani Wagh

I am an epidemiology intern at San Bernardino County, where I contribute to the COVID-19 response by analyzing data, conducting surveys, and preparing reports and presentations. I use SAS, R, and SQL to manipulate and visualize large datasets and apply statistical and epidemiological methods to assess trends, risk factors, and outcomes. I have successfully supported multiple projects, such as evaluating the impact of vaccination campaigns, identifying high-risk populations, and developing dashboards and indicators for monitoring and evaluation. I am also pursuing a master's degree in public health epidemiology from the Loma Linda School of public health, where I have gained a solid foundation in public health principles, research methods, and healthcare management. My academic projects include conducting a systematic review on the association between air pollution and respiratory diseases, designing a randomized controlled trial on the effectiveness of a health education intervention, and developing a grant proposal on the prevention of tuberculosis. I am passionate about improving health outcomes and reducing health disparities through evidence-based interventions and policies. My goal is to become a public health professional who can apply data-driven insights to address complex health challenges and promote health equity.
