About Indranil Bhattacharyya

As a Data Scientist at Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre India, I leverage my skills in data analysis and computer vision to develop innovative solutions that enhance business efficiency and decision-making. I have successfully developed an end-to-end pipeline for automated extraction of structured key information from procurement documents, reducing manual review efforts. I have also improved the data quality and efficiency of an internal tool by contributing to its web scraping module. In addition to my professional experience, I am passionate about mentoring and guiding students through their capstone projects at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. I provide mentorship on research methodology, data analysis, and professional reporting to help students translate raw data into meaningful business decisions. I am also a Level 1 Viva Examiner at the same institution, where I evaluate the quality of the notebooks and perform preliminary checks for the students. My goal is to apply my expertise in data science and chemistry to create positive impact in various domains.
