About Indrek Ulst
I've spent the last 16+ years moving between writing code, leading teams, and working with clients. Sometimes all in the same day. I co-founded Mooncascade back in 2009, starting out as a hands-on engineer across mobile, front-end, and back-end. Later, as CTO and Interim CEO (2015–2020), I learned what it takes to grow a company and keep a team moving in the same direction. From 2020 to 2023, I stepped into technical sales and account management, which turned out to be less about “selling” and more about understanding problems, and solving a few of them along the way. In late 2022, I founded CryptoSwift, an end-to-end Travel Rule solution that helps crypto service providers keep up with global regulations - a mix of technology, regulation, and the occasional regulatory headache. Over the years, I’ve worked with all kinds of clients: startups, scale-ups, and established names like Wise, Glia, Swedbank, Elisa, and Bolt. What matters most to me is being straight with people and following through on what I say. I like clear communication, steady delivery, and the occasional gallows joke when things go sideways.
