With 15 years of experience in product management, I am a curious, creative, and dedicated professional with a passion for learning. My expertise lies in designing and engineering products that excel in performance, safety, and compliance with regulations. I have a strong background in managing diverse global markets and a global supplier base. I hold an M.A. in Textiles and Clothing from the University of Alberta, along with a Bachelor of Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, India. Additionally, I am a Certified Manager of Quality - Organizational Excellence through the American Society of Quality. Throughout my career, I have achieved remarkable results, such as an 85% revenue growth in managed categories for Pioneer and Ranpro in Canada. I established a successful quality management program and significantly reduced defective product returns by 84%. Furthermore, I introduced a vendor scorecard dashboard to track supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality metrics. Among my specialties are product management, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, vendor management, and product strategy, along with expertise in market analysis and research and development. I am interested in QA/QC best practices, continuous improvement, product sustainability, lean processes, and ESG initiatives, and I am currently working on expanding Pioneer products in the US, building on their successful track record of doubling sales year on year.
