About Inga Mencke

In an ever-changing, ever-evolving reality of change in the work space, it is key to stay flexible and to continuously develop oneself. My first role was within the IT department. There my major focus was IT project support and internal IT communication. After a couple of years, I discovered my true passion around digital marketing. With my ability to learn and to adapt plus my persistency, I then got the chance to become a social media manager at Philips. My success in building brands and engagement on social channels like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn grounds on my ability to create inspirational content and stories centered around user’s needs. By testing new ways of social media tools and interaction, I contribute to the company’s journey in the digital world and ensure to leverage its digital innovativeness. As stated before, I believe professional development is key. Therefore, I broadened my scope, and now besides all social media acitivities, I am also responsible for all CRM activities for B2B and B2C at Signify (formerly known as Philips Lighting) in DACH. In the end, these are just different ways to our customers, but they all have the common aim to build strong customer relationships with convincing content. Being part of a global company gives me the unique chance to build relationships with colleagues all over the world and to learn from each other. I appreciate a corporate environment in which I can test, learn, and personally grow.
