About Inge Larish

Ms. Larish has more than 20 years of national patent litigation and other intellectual property and complex litigation experience, serving as first chair trial and lead counsel. She has litigated patent cases in a number of diverse technologies, including wireless communications, including LTD, LTEA, CDMA, EVDO, WCDMA, 802.11 and Bluetooth standards; communication network architectures, electro-optic devices; audio and video processing (MPEG4, H.264, MP3); GPS, software, digital and mechanical devices, chemical compounds, and computer architecture. She has experience in all stages of patent litigation through trial and appeal, claim construction briefs and hearings, technical and expert depositions, hearings, expert reports, Daubert hearings, interlocutory appeals, preliminary injunctions including direct and cross-examination of witnesses, summary judgment practice including oral argument, pre- and post-trial motion practice, ITC and appellate practice. Ms. Larish also has experience in trade secret and unfair competition litigation, trademark, and copyright litigation. Ms. Larish is a former law clerk to the Hon. Paul Michel (ret.) of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Ms. Larish has her masters in Human Factors Engineering from the University of Illinois. Her experience also includes programming in C. She is also a former NASA fellow for display research and design. Recognition: Ms. Larish was the Articles Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review and member of the Law Review. Ms. Larish was the recipient of the University of Illinois Rickerts Award for Excellence in Legal Writing, AmJur Awards in Property, Civil Litigation, and Torts. She received Honors in Moot Court and High Honors in Legal Writing. Prior to law school, Ms. Larish was awarded a NASA Post-Baccalaureate Research Fellowship and a Graduate Student Award for the Society for Information Display ("SID") for her research on heads-up displays in aviation. National litigation experience and federal court admissions including: Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Northern District of California, Southern District of California, Western District of Washington, Northern District of Texas, Southern District of Texas, Eastern District of Texas, Western District of Texas and Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit; admissions for litigation including: Oregon District Court, Western District of Michigan, Middle District of Florida, Middle District of Tennessee, Northern District of Al and Middle District of Louisiana.
