About Inger Stapleton

If you are like most people, you would love to learn another language. You may even have it on your bucket list, but life keeps happening and every January 1st you say "this will be the year." That's where I come in. I can help you plug language learning into your already very busy life style in much the same way as you would experience it when you're studying abroad - except I bring the experience to you wherever you are. Wondering how I got so passionate about this? Check out my bio below. Inger relates deeply to the immigrant story. She grew up with a strong pride in her rich cultural roots and clear understanding of the benefits she was granted to live out any American Dream she could think up. The daughter of a Liberian mother and father who was first generation for his Jamaican mother. Most of Inger's friends growing up couldn't understand anything her grandmothers said. And there began her journey of translating and interpreting. Inger has studied language and taught language with the best of them. Including teaching English using the Berlitz method while working her dream job at Essence magazine shortly after graduating from Manhattanville College. Inger's passion and commitment to her studies led her to miss a trip to St. Martin with her family because she pledged to only speak Japanese the summer they traveled there. Inger was attending Middlebury College's language intensive program and didn't want to break her commitment. In 2012 Inger took a trip to Mexico and stayed for three months to study Spanish. There she fine tuned her abilities and learned first-hand why people say studying abroad is the best way to learn a second language. She also got to experience the difficulties of missing your family and how those sorts of distractions can reduce your ability to enjoy an abroad experience. Inger received an international MBA from Hult Business School. When she arrived in London her class of 100 students represented 60 different countries. During the course of her studies she learned first-hand how fun cultural differences can be while trying to achieve a goal. Inger's first time in graduate school (pictured above) included people from the following countries: France, India, Italy, Mexico, Russia, USA. Inger has combined everything she learned to bring products to the market that will help anyone with a busy schedule achieve their goals around language learning and cultural understanding.
